I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
Just recently Titan Comics announced that among other comic book titles that would be making their way in the line-up for the Free Comic Book Day 2020, Horizon Zero Dawn comic book series will also be available. This will mark the first installment of this announced brand new comic book sequel series based on the PS4 exclusive. What is really interesting is that the setting would perhaps be after the events of the game.
As pitched by Titan, this Horizon Zero Dawn Comic Book Series will be an exclusive lead-in story to the expanded series in the future. This pretty much points towards the fact that it would not be set during or before the evens of the game rather after the aftermath.
“Discover a far-future Earth full of epic natural beauty, where awe-inspiring machines are the dominant species.”
The synopsis states as follows;
“Talanah, Sunhawk of the Hunters Lodge, struggles to find purpose after Aloy, her trusted friend, disappears. When a mysterious new threat emerges in the wilds, she returns to her roots as a hunter to defeat it, only to learn that a whole new breed of mechanized killers stalks the land.”
Now while that is clear, the next question that pops into the heads of the fans is whether this sequel story is worthy enough compared to the original title? Well, they need not worry, as the series is being written down by “Anne Toole”. Who is one of the writers who have worked on the main game? So a lot of reassurances that Toole will be pulling through something similar and brilliant as that of the main game.
Be that as it may, you will able to pick up the first issue of the Horizon Zero Dawn comic Book series come May, 2nd 2020. Furthermore, you can also expect some freebies alongside, which are set to hit shelves attempting to honor Free Comic Book Day 2020.
