I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
CD Projekt Red’s upcoming sci-fi RPG game is getting all the attention it needs. In fact to such a level that fans are even wondering and asking about Cyberpunk 2077 Nintendo Switch Version. To be honest it might happen and it just might not happen. In a recent extensive interview, the CD Projekt Red‘s Studio Head John Mamais, when asked about the Switch version about Cyberpunk said that they have not yet thought about it at all. However, why is it still a possibility is because that for the case of Witcher 3, no one actually thought of it to be ported for Switch but that happened. So you never know.
While Mamais specifically added a “probably not” statement for Cyberpunk 2077 Nintendo Switch version. Considering the way Witcher 3 landed on Switch, it seems like a high possibility that this too might land on this hybrid console in the near future. While there is no official confirmation, Switch fans should not lose hope on this possibility.
“Who would have thought a game like The Witcher 3 would be possible on Switch, so who knows?” Mamais said. “I guess we’ll see if we decide to put it on the Switch, if we can do it. Probably not.” Mamais said.
Aside from that Mamais also shed light on the topic of microtransaction in Cyberpunk 2077. Which he added that is also not a possibility. The reason being that he on a personal level thinks that it seems a bad idea to do microtransaction after releasing the game. Also adding that if fans don’t want it then it always is a bad idea to introduce such a feature.
“I think it’s a bad idea to do microtransactions after you release a game,” he said. “It seems like it’s very profitable, though. It’s probably a hard decision for the guy that runs the business to decide if we should do it or not. But if everyone hates it, why would we do something like that and lose the goodwill of our customers?
Having said that there is no doubt that Cyberpunk 2077 is going to nail down every other game. From really intense details seen in the recent gameplay to the multiplayer elements which also ensure its longevity as a game, everything seems on spot. However, for those PC users who are concerned about the Cyberpunk 2077 optimization. You need not worry, as per the devs the game will be as nicely optimized as the Witcher 3 is on PC.
Cyberpunk 2077 is slated to roll out on April 16, 2020, across, PS4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia.
