I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
The Social Network that rolled out back in 2010, did achieve quite a lot of appreciation. In fact, Aaron Sorkin even received screenplay Oscar over it as well. This year the writer-director has shown interest in perhaps a sequel to the interesting Social Network. Considering the fact that Facebook has embroiled in new controversies in the past years, to date. It only seems reasonable to revive the spark that was left alone for some time. If that triggers some interest, then you should know that the guy who played the role, Jesse Eisenberg of the Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg has also shown keen interest if a sequel was under consideration.
Unfortunately, there is no official confirmation on whether or not a sequel would be made at the moment at least but bets are that if everyone is interested, it would perhaps be the best time to make the Social Network Sequel.
Jesse has recently shared his interest over it, letting the fans know that the would be glad to reprise the role in David Fincher‘s The Social Network film. However, he also added that it would only be possible when and if Aaron Sorkin ever writes the script.
This Jesse said, taking to Inidiewire,
I’ve only heard about it in interviews this week. Because I don’t Google my name, this the only way I hear about my future projects,” the actor, who is currently promoting The Art of Self Defense, said during a conversation in New York.
That said, it is to be noted that at the moment, Eisenberg has not been offered the opportunity at the moment so fingers are crossed on whether or not he will even play the role or the producers have someone else in mind.
“Oh, yeah. To play a good role in a popular thing is very rare. This was an opportunity to play a complicated character that you’d normally play onstage or an art film but on a big scale. For me, that was incredibly fortunate,” he added.
Moreover, praising Sorkin, he said that he is no less than a genius.
“Sorkin is a genius, and if he chooses to write about something, it’ll obviously be interesting. But I am not aware of either the project or even the current controversy of the company,” he said.
With all that said, it is a known fact that ever since Facebook Cambridge Analytica data scandal, the company has caught a lot of attention and it would perhaps seem pretty interesting to make a sequel on the situation.
So let’s hope that all of this pans out alright. Would you like to see The Social Network Sequel? And would you like to see Jesse Eisenberg make a comeback, or would you rather see someone else? Let us know in the comments below.
