I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
E3 2019 had nothing that referred toward GTA 6, apart from the news of VineWood Casino coming to GTA Online, nothing much was said. Which was a bit of a bummer for a lot of fans. However, such things have never stopped the fans from speculating and that is why there are tons of rumors regarding the GTA 6 release date out in the social media.
Similar to many other rumors, is this new recently discovered rumor which like many others seem to suggest that GTA 6 release date is set for April 2020. This leak seems to have surfaced over at social media, where an image has been posted. The image is seemingly a screenshot of a job listing for Graphics Designer, who will be located in London.
When you take a look at the description, it seems to refer towards GTA 6. As it writes that Rockstar is looking or a Graphics Designer;
The successful candidate will be responsible for art direction and development for a highly anticipated, action adventure open world sequel, scheduled to release in April, 2020.
We have shared the image as well. That said, now since this is strictly a rumor, we would recommend you to take this with a grain of salt. However, provided the fact that if this listing is actually genuine, it would then definitely point towards Grand Theft Auto 6. However, similar to these there are tons of other rumors every day, so these days we can’t be certain, which one is legit and which one is not.
With that being said,
despite the fact that there are numerous rumors out there already, Rockstar Games has still not provided any concrete information about GTA 6, so it is still on the thin ground. In fact, the devs have yet to even provide confirmation of its existence.
However, while staying on the thin ground, during a Rockstar’s earnings call Zelnick did say that there are some really strong titles in the development pipeline, specifically mentioning the word sequel. Everyone knows that Grand Theft Auto is perhaps the biggest title there is, at least for the Rockstar. So perhaps he might have been referring to it. Still, fingers are crossed.
“We have the strongest development pipeline in our history, including sequels from our biggest franchises, along with exciting new IP”.
Having said that all, there is no official confirmation about the GTA 6, let alone its release date. So we would recommend you to take such rumors with a grain of salt.
