The Outer Worlds release date is now officially set for October 25 this year.

Not only that the game will also be available via Xbox Game Pass subscription when it launches. Last but not least, what would be an announcement without an E3 trailer, right? So a very breathtaking trailer that is without any doubt visually captivating has also been displayed. You can witness those amazing visuals below in The Outer Worlds trailer.

The Outer World is an upcoming sci-fi shooter by Obsidian Entertainment, slated to roll out across PS4, Xbox One and PC on 25th October 2019. Read the game description below.
The game description is as follows.

Lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the furthest edge of the galaxy, you awake decades later only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the Halcyon colony. As you explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds. In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable.

With that put into context, while the game is being developed by Obsidian, it will be published by Take-Two Interactive’s Private Division. And will initially be an Epic Store exclusive. Before this E3 event, the devs did reveal some interesting information about the game. One of which gave confirmation that there will be no microtransactions in the game. While another one assured that there will be mod support for the game, after its launch.

So there is quite a lot to look forward to.
