As thin as this news may be, still it is a major reason for the fans of Star Wars to be excited about as according to a recent report, a Star Wars movie is in the works. Moreover, this alleged movie is based on BioWare’s Knights of the Old Republic and is being worked at Disney. The information further suggests that it could be the first of a potential trilogy.

This report comes from Buzzfeed News, and so it should be taken with a grain of salt. However, the outlet has claimed that this information comes from three different sources which are close to the project. So that does seem to add more spice to this news.

These sources claim that this Star Wars Movie is being written by Laeta Kalogridis, who is known for giving is the much loved and mysterious Shutter Island and has produced Avatar. One of her recent credit is as a co-screenwriter on the action, adventure and sci-fi movie, Alita: Battle Angel.

Talking about Star Wars, we can’t help but mention that there also have been various rumors which suggest that the game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order just might make an appearance as EA’s biggest title at E3 2019. Having said that, what is even more interesting is the Star Wars Dark Forces, which is currently in the works. Well, not in its entirety as it is being worked on by a fan and so can be referred to as a fan remake. This remake is being worked on, utilizing Unreal Engine 4 and the word is that a developer from Obsidian Entertainment is also involved.
