Apex Legend is that one battle royale game that can be considered as a breakaway gaming hit of this year, at least for now, unless and until something new and equivalent rolls out. That said, this game is not also being considered to be rolled out for mobiles. In a recent earnings call by Electronic Arts, an announcement was made that seeks to add that an Apex Legends mobile device version is being considered. So much so that the company is advancing negotiations in order to bring Apex Legends to China and to mobile.

It is certainly not much of a surprise that EA is trying to keep the momentum going by bringing it on mobile, as other major battle royale titles like PUBG and Fortnite have found much success. EA’s earnings call noted;

“We are in advanced negotiations to bring Apex Legends to China and to mobile, and we will update you on timeframes when those negotiations are concluded,”

With that said, for those who do not know, Apex Legends is EA’s fastest growing game, reaching over 50 million in just one month of its release. 50 million is a significant number considering the fact that its competitor Fortnite took about three months to reach this player number.

Considering that and the fact that when Apex Legends originally rolled out, in just a matter of days it was able to reach 10 million concurrent users. So EA moving towards a mobile device version for Apex Legends might be the most feasible option right now. Bets are if they are able to execute it properly, it just might penetrate the battle royale mobile market.

Perhaps we shall see this happening soon enough.

I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
