I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
The Witcher title is more known to the fans of Action RPGs and The Witcher 3 is perhaps known to the world. For just how amazing CD Projekt Red created that game. Perhaps that is why a lot of us are intent on seeing the upcoming Netflix TV show based on The Witcher series. On that note let us add the good news, as in a recent letter to the investors, reported by Deadline, Netflix, has confirmed that The Witcher TV show shall be joining us in the final quarter of 2019.
Although no exact release date has been given at the moment but this definitely is an official confirmation that this much-anticipated TV show will become available sometime in the last three months of this present year, which is not to far off.
Netflix also revealed that The Witcher was coming in the last three months of the year.
On its investor call, Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandso revealed that the fantasy drama, which stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia and is currently in production in Hungary, would launch in Q4.
Having said that there is no doubt that there are very high expectations from the creators regarding this show. It has not been in development for quite some time now and the fact that the fans have already seen a masterpiece game version of this game leaves this show in quite some trouble. The trouble to stand up to the mark. Will it be able to? that is the real question. To that very question, the executives of The Witcher TV series did add that they are very much pleased with the progress this project has been making and that it will be more than justified.
Let us hope that it does, be that as it may, for those who do not know, this The Witcher Netflix TV Show is based on the novels by Andrzej Sapkowski. The first season will have about eight episodes all of which are being directed by Alik Sakharov. Sakharov is the man behind the much-loved Game of Thrones (2011), Ozark (2017) & House of Cards. Alongside we also have Alex Garcia Lopez working on this TV show. While Lauren Schmidt Hissrich is responsible for production.
