The fans of Elder Scrolls are very much familiar with Grandma Shirley Curry, as she is known for her Youtube videos regarding Skyrim. Perhaps that is why Bethesda thought it to be a good gesture to include Grandma Shirley as an NPC in The Elder Scrolls VI. Bethesda will be using photogrammetry technology to scan the Skyrim enthusiast and add to the game.

This was revealed in the recent PAX East during the Elder Scrolls 15th Anniversary Pannel. In the video, the company explained how the photogrammetry technology actually works. By taking the scans of real-life objects, this technology enables them to translate them into high details 3D. So this can be used to add game environments taken from real life as well.

As for Grandma Shirley, it is an honor for her she adds as to be included in The Elders Scrolls VI is something that actually means a lot to her.

This means a lot to me,” Curry said. Because I would be extremely happy to know that somebody else was playing with my character in a future Elder Scrolls game.”

Shirley boasts about 482, 000 subscribers on Youtube, where she posts video logs of Let’s Play Skyrim while speaking to her viewers. She also has turned towards Twitter, showing off the Tee Shirt she received upon her visit to Bethesda’s studio saying;

“Well, since they made the announcement today about me, as a character in the next TES game …I can show my favorite thing I brought away with me!!!”

I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
