Just a few days back, Blizzard announced the availability of the original Diablo game on GOG.com and so without further ado, you can play this 1996 classic demon slaying RPG game once again. You will be able to play this Diablo in two different ways, one is the authentic experienced based that features the classic game running at 20 FPS SVGA graphics, with the ability of matchmaking through the classic version of Blizzard’s Battle.net. The second is the enhanced version of the game as expected this is if you wish to play a flawless and bug-free, improved version of the original Diablo game. Moreover, this version will also be compatible with Windows 10.

When Blizzard made the announcement of the mobile Diablo Immortal it did not go as the company expected and left the fans dissatisfied and wishing for something with an old school Diablo feel. The fallout of such a catastrophic announcement initially dropped the company share by 11% and they had to rectify the mistake. That is why Blizzard announced Diablo 4 to be in the works, dissipating the heat over Diablo Immortal.

However, now with this Orignal Diablo Game made available, you can let go of the anger over Immortal and dive into the classic feel. With that being said, Blizzard vice president Rob Bridenbecker in a statement regarding this Orignal Diable Game said,

We were bummed that these iconic games weren’t available to our players, so we‘re very happy to work with the crew at GOG.com to rectify that this has been a long time coming and we hope our players will be excited to jump back into these classic titles”.

While it is still very strange that this game is not available on Blizzard’s own Battle.net but rather on GOG.com, you can still play the game.

I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
