Do you remember the Scalebound title that was in development by PlatinumGames from the year 2013 till the year 2017 when it got canceled? Well apparently as thin as this actually is, it seems to be that the game has not yet completely died. According to some sources, the dead title Scalebound, which was to release on Xbox One is now being prepared for a Nintendo Switch release.

This news which is to be treated strictly as a rumor, is courtesy of Nintendo Insider, who have put faith in their sources claiming that Scalebound title is being revived as a project, which shall roll out on Nintendo Switch exclusively. Having said that all of this may be good news for the Switch fans and perhaps for the Scalebound fans as well but most of us still have few reservations regarding the truthfulness of this rumor. We are aware of the involvement Microsoft has had with this title, their involvement has been for years until it got canceled.

Which got us wondering to the big questions, will the title’s development start from scratch? Or will they just switch the platform and make adjustments? Those are some technical questions to which we do not have answers at the moment and with them not being addressed we cannot be 100% certain.

With all that put into context, we advise you to take this with a pinch of salt for now. Until we receive any authentic confirmation we can not have baseless expectations. Whatever may be the case, this news does have the capacity to attract the fans, for Scalebound was something which everyone was looking forward to and now if it rolls out on Nintendo Switch, fans would be very glad.
Scalebound was an action RPG developed by PlatinumGames, which was to release across Xbox One and PC.
