The release of Anthem game is just around the corner and perhaps that is why Electronic Arts and BioWare thought it to be a perfect time, to let the fans know that a live action short film based on this Anthem game referred to as Conviction is slated to also release. In fact, it will debut tomorrow on 14th February, however, just to get the hype ball rolling, the makes have rolled out a very short teaser of this Anthem based film Conviction. You can check out the trailer below.

After seeing the trailer, we have high expectations that this live action film, Conviction based on Anthem will surely be as amazing as the game Anthem is supposed to be. Although we are not sure what kind of success Anthem will have, what we know is that its open world, those Javelin suits, and the visual setting are few of the things, we won’t be bored off and perhaps similar would be the case with Conviction. As mentioned before, Conviction is a work of Neill Blomkamp. Blomkamp is an acclaimed South African film director, whose work has seen great heights. Some of his major work you might be familiar with are District 9, Elysium and Chappie. All of which were very unique in their concept and have a technology portrayed as a key element in them.

As soon we came to know that Blomkamp will be directing a film based on Anthem game, we were not only happy but our expectations and assurance were also met as well. Blomkamp has proven time and time again that he can meet the requirements for such type of concepts. In a statement, Blomkamp said,

I was really blown away by this incredible world BioWare created the very first time I saw Anthem. Conviction sets the stage with a narrative that touches on Anthem’s beautiful and immersive world, which is ripe for exploration by these powerful Javelins. A world where danger is lurking on every ledge and in each valley.

Having said that Anthem is slated to roll out on February 22, 2019, across, PC, Xbox One and PS4 while this live action short film based on Anthem, Conviction will debut on February 14th, 2019.

I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
