Just a little while back, IO Interactive has made the announcement which the Hitman lovers might find interesting. Hitman HD Enhanced Collection has been announced for Xbox One and PS4 and among other things, it shall also support 4K at 60 FPS.w

This Hitman HD Enhanced Collection includes Hitman Absolution, as well as Hitman Blood Money. That said, these are the 4K remasters for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, however, there are also major improvements for the base consoles as well.

The CEO of IO Interactive, Hakan Abrak, regarding this announcement said,

“We’re very happy with this collection and how we were able to update and remaster two of our classic Hitman titles for modern consoles,” said Abrak. “’Hitman: Blood Money’ and ‘Hitman: Absolution’ have helped us on our journey to where we are today, and we’re looking forward to players enjoying them in 4K and 60 fps.”

Improvements include,

4K at a stable 60 FPS
Texture resolution has been upgraded.
Texture formats have been upgraded.
Upscale support
Heightened shadow map and mirror resolutions
Improved lighting
Updated controls for a more fluid experience

With all that said, Hitman HD Enhanced Collection is slated to roll out on January 11, 2019, for Xbox One and PS4.
