Half Life 2, as well as Portal fans, would definitely find this news exciting, the co writer Eric Wolpaw has made a return to Valve. The co-founder of Valve Corporation Gabe Newell has just recently given confirmation of Wolpaw making the return to the company.

Wolpaw left Valve back in February of 2017 and along with him were many other writers as well, among them were Mirc Laidlaw and Jay Pinkerton. Now surprising as it may seem, they too have made a return.

Now all of this definitely points out to the fact that something is definitely cooking at Valve. Knowing the fact that Half Life 2 Co Writers are back together at Valve, this does give weight to some of the rumors and desires to see something regarding another Half Life sequel.

However as you may know back in 2017, Marc Laidlaw posted an entire plot for Half Life episode 3 online, which basically killed all hope for another sequel.

Although now with these two writers back at Valve, speculations have started to fire up once again and why not. The time is perfect, the weather is set and fans have never been more ready. Having said that we would still recommend you to not invest much in this hope.

Other rumors seem to also suggest that perhaps Half Life VR might be under consideration. Again we can not be sure about the results unless and until we hear something from the devs.

Be that as it may, there is definitely something exciting that Valve might be working on. So what are your thoughts on the Half Life 2 Co Writer and writer teaming up once again? Let us know in the comments below.
