Fans of Kingdom Hearts 3 know that the game has been in development for far too long and although they are excited as the release date approached. They all wonder the reason behind this long development stretch. Luckily in a recent interview, the co-director Tai Yasue shed light on various aspects, in which this too was discussed for some brief moments.

Speaking with Newsweek, Tai Yasue speaking about the Kingdom Hearts 3 development stretch said that before the company even started working on KH3, Square Enix was required to revamp its game engine considering the fact that the previous engine was very much outdated.

Now with this new revamped development engine, the devs were able to learn new and better techniques as well as, were able to adapt and also work within this new engine.

“Our current engine is great in terms of developing a high-end AAA title, but because there was a change in technology and workflows, it took some time for the team to adapt and adjust”

So what can be concluded as a reason for such a development stretch for Kingdom Hearts 3 was the development engine it is built on.

Having said that Tai Yasue talking about Kingdom Hearts 3 said,

The story of Kingdom Hearts is a classic tale of light and good overcoming darkness and evil.

We know that the devs have been very careful with the details and trailer reveals for this game. They do not want to spoil the fun by giving out too much information all the while they want to keep the audience intact. Which apparently they have with the recent amazing trailers.

I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
