We all are aware of the fact that all of the major releases by EA studios like DICE and BioWare are powered by the one and only Frostbite engine that is with the exception to the Nintendo Switch console. However, that specifically just might change and for the better as just recently a rumor has surfaced, which seems to suggest that EA is trying to bring the support of Frostbite Engine to Nintendo Switch.

This rumor is the courtesy of Youtuber who goes by the name, Doctre 81, recently made this discovery. On a LinkedIn’s undisclosed EA Software Engineer page, it has been revealed that EA is working on bringing existing software development kits to the Switch console. Now Frostbite has not been specifically mentioned but since the owner of the page has worked on games like the recently released Battlefield V and the upcoming Anthem, points towards a possibility that support for Frostbite Engine might actually be worked on Nintendo Switch by EA.

As both of these games, Battlefield V and Anthem are powered by the Frostbite engine, all the speculations point towards this becoming a possibility. Having said that it is to be considered that this is just speculation and has the tendency to be proven otherwise. So we recommend you to take this with a grain of salt for now.

Check out the video below.

Be that as it may, it does seem to add quite a lot of excitement among fans as they are thinking of EA games that are powered by Frostbite engine.
