I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
The recently released Netflix’s film, Bird Box starring Sandra Bullock has been watched by over 45 million people and counting, in just a week, according to Netflix. However, while the audience seems to like it, the reviews seem to be somewhat mixed.
45 million people mean over third of Netflix’s total subscribers. Even for Netflix, it is a rare move to reveal these number but since they have, everyone can now get an idea that the audience must have found something interesting.
Moreover, what is really interesting is the fact that these viewing numbers make Bird Box, the strongest first week compared to any film by Netflix.
Took off my blindfold this morning to discover that 45,037,125 Netflix accounts have already watched Bird Box — best first 7 days ever for a Netflix film! pic.twitter.com/uorU3cSzHR

Having said that Bird Box started streaming December 21st and seems to be getting mixed reviews, perhaps even negative reviews, as one might add.
Peter Debruge comparing it to Variety adds,
Has been (misleadingly) compared to “A Quiet Place,” only that film had real monsters, genuine suspense, and a much more intuitive set of rules for survival.
While Sandy Schaefer of Screen Rant adds that it is quite moody however an intelligent psychological thriller.
Bird Box is a respectably moody and intelligent psychological thriller, if also a relatively muddled supernatural horror allegory.
Vulture’s Emily Yoshida has words that are best read yourself.
You don’t appreciate the art of a good genre contrivance until you see one pulled off poorly.
While leaving all other success options for Netflix’s Bird Box, Paul Asay of Plugged In adds,
Bird Box won’t be up for any awards, most likely, and it’s R all the way. It didn’t need to be.
All these are negative comments and reviews, however, it should not come as much of surprise to anyone because we all are aware of reviewers and their never-ending lust to criticize anything in front of their eyes. We have seen it time and time again. The general audience seems to like this Netflix’s psychological thriller Bird Box if anything else.
Shaun Woods adds,
Bird Box is exactly what it says on the tin.
Imagine that you filled a box full of various birds – different colors, breeds, and sizes… And then shook the said box and opened it up onto Sandra Bullock’s shrieking face.
That is just one review by the general audience. Based on Netflix’s viewer numbers for Bird Box, it only seems to reason that it definitely is worth your time. Perhaps not a masterpiece but a one time watch to the least.
