I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
Apparently, Bethesda was not kidding when they said that cheating will not be tolerated. Just recently they banned a lot of players, whom they suspected of cheating in Fallout 76. Anyhow, if you are among those Fallout 76 banned cheaters, then worry not, it is not yet over for you, provided you write a quick essay, acknowledging the fact that cheating is bad.
It is pretty hilarious to be honest but also a very peaceful way to resolve this situation. Having said that there is no argument that Bethesda games are one of the most modded games out there. Like the Elder Scrolls V Skyrim which as most of you might know that is continuously being modded by the modding community with various expansions, added contents along with textures packs and such.
So hearing the news regarding Fallout 76 cheaters getting banned should not come as much of a surprise. There have been multiple reports regarding Fallout 76 players getting banned over using third-party programs in the game.
However, a homework assignment is all you need to do, in order to get unbanned.
Selected users who have been getting an email saying this,
This account has violated the Code of Conduct and Terms of Service by cheating. The account was detected to be running a third-party application, which provides an unfair in-game advantage, while logged into Fallout 76. […] The use of this type of application is not permitted under any circumstances, nor for any reason. As a result, we regret to inform you that this account has been permanently disabled and will no longer be eligible to participate in any ZeniMax Online services.
Furthermore, talking about the essay it adds,
If you would like to appeal this account closure, we would be willing to accept an essay on “why the use of third-party cheat software is detrimental to an online game community”, for our management team to review.
Speaking of cheating, it is pretty ironic that Bethesda itself is facing a lawsuit by a law firm, Migliaccio & Rathod LLP for having deceptive trade practices in relation to Fallout 76.
Now sure what will become of that law suite but it does highlight that no one is clean. What are your thoughts regarding Fallout 76 players getting banned? And writing an essay to revoke those bans? Let us know in the comments below.
