As exciting as it may seem, let it be known that this is strictly a rumor and should be treated as such. Having said that, a Youtuber has uploaded a video which seems to suggest that a Mortal Kombat Trilogy might be making a comeback, perhaps in a form of a remaster.

The Youtuber goes by the name “Doctre81” seems to claim that this new alleged remaster of Mortal Kombat Trilogy is being developed by Squirrel Games. Moreover, according to the rumor, this game shall roll out across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC as well as Nintendo Switch. However, all of them not at the same time.

You can check out the video below.

Since there is no official confirmation of this project to be in the works, we will recommend you once again to take this with a grain of salt. However, the images seen in the vide, do seem to point out that perhaps Mortal Kombat Trilogy might be making a return and probably in a form of a remaster.

With all that said, Mortal Kombat 11 is also in the works and is expected to release on April 23rd, 2019 across, Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch.
