It has been a while since Rockstar’s big title, Red Ded Redemption 2 rolled out and without any doubt, it has been nailing down a lot of hearts. However, for Nintendo Switch fans, this not a good news as Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime has addressed this plaguing question. According to him, Red Dead Redemption 2 Switch version could not happen just because there was not sufficient time.

This he said while speaking with The Hollywood Reporter that it was because of insufficient time and not something that some may have believed for Switch, not being able to handle this game.

‘We’d love [Red Dead Redemption 2] for it to be [on Switch], ‘But again – and this is where there needs to be an understanding of just the development process – Red Dead has been in development for years, time that predated any communication of Nintendo Switch. So, from the developer’s mentality, they need to move forward and finish the game they’ve been working on and then be in a position to look at other opportunities.’

So that pretty much sums it up for those looking forward to a Red Dead Redemption 2 Switch version. The developers are looking to move ahead and not explore further options at the moment for this game.

That said since Red Dead 2 has rolled out it has been massive, especially in terms of sales. Also, have you checked out the Redemption 2 Online gameplay? If you haven’t then you are missing out on a lot.

I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
