Long before Battlefield V actually rolled out, the female controversy has brought a major heat on this upcoming game. Now it appears this controversy has been ignited once again and this time the devs seem to actually be mocking the complaints from the community, regarding the historical accuracy of Battlefield V.

The decision to use women in Battlefield V seems to be taking a toll once again and this time the EA Executive, Patrick Söderlund has made a mocking comeback as most would say. Saying that historical accuracy of Battlefield V is completely true.

Moreover, he added that

Battlefield 5 is a lot about the unseen, the untold, the unplayed”.

However, what really came as a mocking incident is when he said that,

“the common perception is that there were no women in World War 2. There were a ton of women who both fought in World War 2 and partook in the war.”

Then he also said that those who are complaining about the females in Battlefield 5 are “uneducated” and “they do not understand” its authenticity.

With all that said, honestly EA might be right but passing such statement suggests that most of the Battlefield V fans who have a problem of historical accuracy are uneducated. That does not seem a good marketing strategy, provided their contender has been on a killing streak.

Yes with all the mixed reviews, Call of Duty Black Ops 4 has been nailing down the market in terms sales. In just three days of its release, the game was able to deliver a whopping $500 million. In fact, Activision added that Black Ops 4 sales have reset the company’s history.

Be that as it may, it could also be the other way around that EA is building up controversies just to overshadow, CoD. A negative style of marketing. So fingers crossed over this historical accuracy of Battlefield V.
