Just a little while back on the official PlayStation Blog it has been announced that PUBG aka PlayerUnknown’s Battleground is finally making its way on PS4. Alongside this reveal, an announcement trailer has also been released.

That being said, PUBG will land on PS4 next month on December 7th. And will with three of its iconic maps, Erangel, Mirmar, and Sanhok. However, the much-anticipated snow themed map will also join us this winter on PS4.

Moreover, rest assured PUBG on PS4 will include all of the major features available on other platform versions. Like custom matches, ranked system, event mode, Trophies and such.

You can check out the trailer below.

In appreciation to this achievement, Changmin Lee the PS4 Engineering Lead said,

As we prepare for the official launch on December 7, be sure to stay up to date on the latest news at our website and social channels. The team here at PUBG have worked tirelessly to bring our unique Battle Royale experience to this platform, and we can’t wait to start this new journey with you.

With all that said it is remarkable to see one of the most loved and played game finally makes its way on PS4. The success of PUBG is something that requires no introduction. Over at all the available platforms, this game has set green flags, be it Xbox One, PC or Mobile devices.

And now with PUBG on PS4, it would definitely be interesting to see how the success of this game pans out on PS4. It seems a perfect time to put in a competitor for the recently released Black Ops 4 as well on Sony’s console.

Let’s see how these two put up the show, considering the success of Black Ops 4 with its Blackout mode and all.

You can now preorder the game on PS4.
