The much loved and played team-based multiplayer first-person shooter game Overwatch has a complete chance to make its way over at another much loved and used console, Nintendo Switch. Jeff Kaplan speaking in an interview shared that Blizzard Entertainment has all the intentions to bring Overwatch on Nintendo Switch.

Speaking with Eurogamer, the company clearly stated that although they are not working on this idea at the moment, they have kept themselves open to this possibility.

Moreover, we all are aware of the fact that Blizzard has just recently entered the world on Switch. With some of the big titles like Diablo 3 Eternal Collection and such, the questions now ask, what other titles will land on Nintendo Switch.

Kaplan when asked about bringing Overwatch on Nintendo Switch said,

Our philosophy has always been we want as many players playing Overwatch as possible, and we want to reach as many possible Overwatch players as are our there. We will always explore a platform if we think we could make it viable – both the technology and the business relationship. We would love to do it.”

So, it is pretty clear that while Blizzard might not have any plans for now, however, they do have all the intentions to add players to Overwatch and perhaps that is why they are open towards Nintendo Switch. Let’s hope that this becomes reality as soon as possible.
