Sony’s PlayStation exclusive, Death Stranding by Kojima Production is perhaps one of the most anticipated titles there is. And that is what frustrates the fans to some level that such brilliance can only be achieved from hard work and hard work requires time. Just recently Sony has issued a statement regarding the Death Stranding Release date of its upcoming PS exclusive games.

Based on Sony’s statement, it seems like Death Stranding Release Date might stretch beyond 2019. Which means that fans can have their fingers crossed for this game rolling out any time soon.

The statement is not only for Death Stranding it also includes the much anticipated The Last of Us 2. Before you head on to read the statement. We think that the developers are nowhere near ready enough to actually think on the release window for these games.

And that is why it seems like they are not aiming to release these massive titles in the coming year, based on this recently released statement.

Marketing VP at SIE Worldwide Studios, Asad Qizilbash on his blog said,

“We know many of you will want to know about key upcoming titles such as the beta for Dreams, Blood & Truth, Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us: Part II. The studios are hard at work polishing up these epic PS4 games, but we aren’t yet ready to share a release timeframe. When that news is available, rest assured – you’ll be the first to know!”

So to the fans of Death Stranding or The Last of Us 2, expect both of these game sometime in 2020. Which puts another aspect into context. Could it be possible that these games might be aiming for PS5 release? This question will be answered in the coming months but we like to think so.

I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
