Rockstar’s upcoming western themed title, Red Dead Redemption 2 is just around the corner and that is why the hype is at an all-time high. And in relation to its release, a few rumors seem to have surfaced which seem to suggest that this game will roll out on 2 discs. A Canadian Youtuber spotted this image of Red Dead Redemption 2 Discs and it does seem pretty legit.

The Youtuber who spotted these images goes by the name “PressStartKofi” took to his Twitter account and posted a few images of his early review copy of Red Dead Redemption 2.

Now surprising as it may seem, there appear to be two Red Dead Redemption 2 Discs in the case. Which has had everyone speculating about the size of the game as well as what this initially means.

As you see that one disc is the data disc while the other one is the play disc, like old times? Based on the images, the data disc reads “insert it first” on it and the play disc reads “insert it second”.

So what this means is that the data disc will be used one time only to install the game. And the play discs is the real deal, which will be inserted in order to play the game on your consoles.

After knowing this the size of RDR 2 should not come as much of a surprise, it is a massive 105 GB game on PS4. Which also makes it the biggest game on the current generation of consoles.

However, for Xbox One, it weighs around, 85 GB, which is slightly less but still massive in its nature.

With all that said, it is no surprise that this game is massive in its size. The vast western lands, the details, the storyline, the gameplay, the smaller details, everything has been worked on with passion and hard work.

Have you seen the recently released launch trailer of the game? If not then feast your eyes and let us know in the comments below.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is slated for October 26 and will roll out on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
