As you may know that the Q4 sales season is already underway and this week has been quite an interesting one, in terms of sales based on UK Charts.

We have had some sizeable releases this week and on the UK Charts, we have FIFA 19 retaining the first position while we have the much-loved Assassin’s Creed Odyssey at the second position and Forza Horizon 4 at a steady 3rd position.

Adding more to the information, even though FIFA 19 retains the first position it has suffered a 64% drops in terms of sales in its second week of release. However, it is a softer decline compared to last year which was at 69%.

Nevertheless, it is performing quite well compared to its predecessors in terms of physical sales so far. Now the other big bird which just recently rolled out Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, achieved quite a critical appreciation last week.

It is astonishing to know that its sales have gone down in the second week to about 26% in comparison to last year’s Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Now all the while Odyssey is being praised but this fall in the sales does put a few concerns out there. Is it lacking something? Perhaps we shall know soon enough. Having said that is still is a little early to draw any conclusions.

Moving on to the game that may be at No.3 but astonishingly it has managed to keep up a good pace, in terms of sales. Based on the UK Charts for this week it has been the fastest selling game in the series.

Xbox UK director Harvey Eagle said,

We’re thrilled that Forza Horizon 4 has been so well received by gamers across the UK

With all that said, let us see what the coming days and weeks hold for these amazing titles, in terms of sales.

I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
