I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
Margot Robbie is gorgeous, beautiful, stunning and an amazing actor and apparently fits the Barbie doll description a little too accurate. Perhaps that is why she is being considered for the role of Barbie in the upcoming Barbie Movie.
A little while back Sony was supposed to helm this Barbie Movie, unfortunately, due to some unforeseen circumstances, Sony won’t be making the movie. Instead, Warner Brothers have taken over the project and with that news, it has also come to light that they are considering Margot Robbie for Barbie role.
This project was first announced back in 2014 and it was revealed that the comedy actor Amy Schumer was going to star in the film. Well, apparently it seems like Amy walked out on the project. Reason being cited as date troubles.
Well, all well that ends well. Although Margot has not yet given any confirmation so hold this news with a lighter grip, still bets are she might go for it.
No offense to Amy Schumer, she is a talented in fact remarkable actress but honestly, her image did not quite sit well with the Barbie doll name. Perhaps it is because of her past performances as well. She has performed some dominant roles that pretty much put somewhat of a stronger image on her.
Margot Robbie, on the other hand, is her self very talented and considering she gets on board with this Barbie Movie, we think that fans would like to see that. We certainly know that she would justify the role. Now the question is how far is Warner Brothers willing to take this film based on a doll.
With all that said, not sure if you know or not but at one point there were even rumors circling in the film industry that the lovely Anne Hathaway might get featured in this movie. Seems to be that those rumors have died out.
Be that as it may, this movie based on a doll was scheduled to roll out on August 8th of this year. However, the date was pushed to May 8th of 2020. Sony has also transferred all of the original rights back to the toymaking company Matte.
