I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
BioWare’s upcoming Anthem is all there is to the rising hype. Now while the devs have been rolling out various details about the game’s narrative and storytelling they now have their focus set on Gameplay of Anthem.
Now we all are aware that Anthem would probably have been a single player title, however, the devs seem to have taken a leap of faith and have gone into the multiplayer version of the game as well. And this is the reason why the devs are more inclined towards the Gameplay of Anthem at the moment.
Anthem’s creative director Jonathan Warner speaking with GamesTM in (October 2018, Issue 2015) said that while a lot of work has been done on the narrative and the storytelling of this upcoming game and it is very important too but the gameplay is something which BioWare has the talent for.
And that is why they want to spare no expense on it. From covering combat mechanics to how it all will play out, Warner adds that this is a “very refreshing” experience.
When you talk about a Mass Effect or a Dragon Age, people invariably end up talking about the plots or the points, and it’s very refreshing, when people talk about Anthem, they talk about flying or fighting monsters, or the gear, the Javelins, and it’s been a great opportunity for us to put gameplay first.
Warner further talking about the immersive worlds, having companionship and how you become the hero of your own story is an invigorating aspect of this game.
It’s very important to us that we create immersive worlds, where you can have companionship, and where you get to be the hero of your own story,” he said. “I think those elements are very much intact with Anthem. We’re adding things to it, we’re adding these interesting social storytelling elements to it. But, those moments, that companionship and strong characters, those are very much there.
