It has been announced by one of the gaming giants, Square Enix, that the Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD will “soon” arrive on the Nintendo Switch. This is going to be the first game from the series making an appearance on the Switch. A launch trailer of the game has also released.

This news was expected to be announced through one of the waited events by Nintendo fans the Nintendo Direct, which was to be held in Japan in the running week. This event has been postponed by the authorities because of the recent devastating earthquake in Japan. Japan in the past few days has been an epicenter of chaos. Coming back to Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD, the game is currently available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. No specific date for the Switch release has been announced yet but Square Enix says the game will be released on Nintendo Switch very soon.

More games were to be announced at the Nintendo Direct, trailers and teasers of some of those games have also been released. It was expected that the release date of the Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD was to be announced at the Nintendo Direct. Price of this version of the game has been set at £24.99 / $29.99 and 40% will be off this price in the first week of official release.
