An accountant by profession, but my knack for Movies and Gaming has never left the soul. Consider myself to be an old soul when it comes to playing games.I have a huge knack for fast cars and that is why i love Forza and NFS series. However i like to take out my frustration by killing zombies in Dying Light. A die heart fan of Call of Duty franchise. Gladiator & The Shawshank Redemption are eternal love and these are just the tip of the iceberg.
God Of War is a game that every passionate gamer, is accustomed to and this will certainly not be a shocker to those who know the wrath of Kratos. As God Of War has once again topped the UK retail charts, this time for the month of May.
Even after seeing a natural drop in the sales during the second month, God Of War has retained its position leaving behind the new release which includes Dark Souls Remastered and Detriot Become Human.
On top of all this, God Of War’s publisher has also managed to retain its position as the top publisher for the month of May, putting Nintendo at the second position.
Having said that, Nintendo has also managed to increase its market share in the UK. That said, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze has also managed to re-enter the sales chart, while Mario Kart 8 Delux is also doing good.
The interesting thing is that Nintendo Sitch has now crushed Microsoft’s Xbox One, in terms of market value, that is.
Apart from that, Ubisoft’s Far Cry 5 still stays strong in terms of sales, while Dark Souls Remastered, which has been much anticipated, was able to fit itself in the top ten but saw lower sales compared to its other better half, Dark Souls 3’s first-month sales figures.
The UK’s Top Ten Games for May 2018 have been listed below.
