One of the finest and well anticipated American thriller series, The Blacklist is back. Very recently The Blacklist Season 6 was announced by NBC giving fans the surety that both James Spader and Megan Boone will be attached to this drama series.  So while its season 5 is currently into play fans definitely have something to look forward to.

This TV series made its premiere back in 2013, with a lot of fanfare for the return of Spader to television. Unfortunately, though, the renewal was pretty much tied into the renewal of Timeless and pickup of the now passed over Bad Boys spinoff, LA’s Finest and another pilot, comedy Guess Who Died.

Fans have been wanting to hear this news for quite some time now. The reason for The Blacklist Season 6 not being followed, was nailed down to the fact that; NBC wanted a reduction of fees on the series. Although, now it would be safe to assume that, the reduction of fee issue must have come to pass for this renewal.

So for those have been wanting to take a deeper dive into crime and drama, this just might be it because what The Blacklist offers is way different than any other crime, drama, thriller series. It does not matter what you believe in, the truth will always be fluid on The Blacklist and hopefully, it will continue to drive fans wild with those finest conspiracy theories.

For those who might not know, The Blacklist also stars Diego Klattenhoff, Harry Lennix, Amir Arison, Mozhan Marnò and Hisham Tawfiq.

You will also be happy to know that, this is not the only series to join the renewal category. Other renewals at NBC include; Blindspot, Good Girls, the Chicago Universe, Law & Order: SVU, and the pickup of Brooklyn Nine-Nine from Fox and these are just a few.

So at least coming months are secured for those Blacklist fans. Having said that, the last season 5 episode; Lawrence Dane Devlin aired on 9th of may, while the next episode; Sutton Ross is scheduled to roll out on 16th of May.
