Developed by Monolith Productions, the new Middle Earth Shadow Of War DLC is out and available for playing. The DLC is named Desolation of Mordor and is the second, story expansion. The narrative of the game revolves around a mortal human Baranor. He is the Captain of Minas Ithil, this area is located in the Eastern desert region of Lithlad.

Baranor being a human does not have magical powers or ability to get alive again and he also does not have the power of the Ring. This means if he dies he is dead. This style of game playing is referred to as “new rogue-like campaign mode”.

Main features of the DLC’s story are, Baranor is united with Torvin who is a craftsman and will bring in new fighting tools for Baranor. Torvin is also a Dwarven hunter and he makes a re-entry in the DLC from the original game.

Baranor can hire humans and mercenaries to fight against Orcs and capture new areas. The game actually starts from this mission where Baranor is in a sandstorm with some fellows in search for some mercenaries and then creatures come up from underneath the ground and chomp up his crew.
By completing new outpost missions you can capture the fortress of Shindrâm.

There is also some other free stuff for Shadow Of War owners as well, like a new much harder difficulty setting. Players of the game can also choose to appear in Baranor’s skin in the campaign mode, and also some new stickers, styles, and filters inspired by the DLC.
