While Avengers: Infinity War shattered multiple records on its opening week the second week was no exception. It turned out, the second weekend of Infinity war’s release was the second highest weekend number two of all times.

On its second weekend, Disney and Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War gathered up $112.5 million with just 56% decline. This position was taken from the previous movie of Marvel the Black Panther which did $111.6 million in its second week. The first position is still held by the Star Wars: The Force Awakens which did a massive $149 million.

Amongst all these slashing and thrashing accomplishments, Avengers: Infinity War has been able to earn $1.2 Billion in just 11 days of its opening and becomes the first ever movie to secure this position on the podium. The big news, it has not yet been released in China.

This weekend, there were other movies on the Box Office as well, like “Overboard, A Quiet Place, I Feel pretty, Rampage” but they were no competition for the blockbuster.

On second place was the remake of Gary Marshall’s 1987 comedy, “Overboard” which earned on its opening week $14.8 Million that is the highest grossing opening weekend for Pantelion films.

Next, on third was “A Quiet Place” which did $159.9 in five weeks.

On fourth place with $37.8 Million on its third weekend was “I Feel Pretty”.

On fifth was Dwayne Johnson’s, “Rampage” with $4.6 Million, with a domestic grand total of $84.8 million.

The first weekend in May marks the start of the Hollywood’s summer movie season but this year had an enormous start with the release of Avengers: Infinity War later in April.

Have you seen Infinity War? We seem to really love the role of Thanos. It was high time something as touching as his character and performance were introduced in a superhero movie.
