If the subtlety of this drama based movie doesn’t ring those sentimental bells then perhaps nothing will. The Boy With The Topknot is nothing short of hilarity that doesn’t let the audience slip away easily. Alongside, it keeps the tragicomic nature intact.

Sacha Dhawan has managed to keep the role of Sathnam in near perfection. While the vividness of color which Anupam Kher has brought into his role is no less than a marvel.

We certainly can not afford to leave the stunningly gorgeous, Joanna Vanderham aside. Her performance was just brilliant.

The Boy With The Topknot movie is based on the critically acclaimed memoirs of British journalist Sathnam Sanghera. The book was originally released in 2009 while, the movie in 2017.

After 1 hour and 30 min, we can safely say that the movie, has justified the book. BBC has once again made a fine entertainment piece.

From the choice of music and its variations to the all the actors, everything was pitch perfect and that are the sole reasons which have made this film worth a watch.

Keeping all that in mind the film did have some melancholic effect, which lasts longer than usual, not sure if it’s a bad thing.

I have a lot of love for Movies especially science fiction however nothing beats the fun of sitting behind a screen and playing some hard core FPS games. Apart from them i am a major lover of Assassins Creed titles especially Brotherhood, The Witcher and God Of War. Huge fan of animation director Hayo Mayazaki.
